Why the flower petals are in particular is any biochemical work for that?

what is the thing which give petals a perticular colour
Why the flower petals are in particular is any biochemical work for that?
It is due to different pigments like-Anthocyanin Xanthophyll carotenoids Flavonoids Pelargonidin (orange-red) Kaempferol (white or cream) Quercitin (also white or cream) Cyanidin (pink) etc.
Reply:GOD%26#039;s work
Reply:Flowers have evolved to attract insects, which pollinate them.

Look up %26quot;fractals%26quot; for fascinating information on the conformation of flowers. :-))
Reply:either many different pigments, as was said here before, or the color white can be caused by many little air pockets in the petal cells (just like the snow is white although it is not colored white by any white dye) Yeah, you can squash the flower and see if your finger got stained
Reply:There is a fair bit of work done,

for example Anthocyanins are compounds responsible for most red, blue and purple colours.puppy teeth
